Coincidences can be fun. But when people seriously refer to Donald Trump as a narcissist, what do they mean?

The basics of NPD include long-term records of:

• an excessive need for admiration ["All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me – consciously or unconsciously. That’s to be expected."] 
• exaggerated feelings of self-importance [The need to put his surname everywhere and sit on a gold-flaked toilet seat]
• and a lack of understanding others' feelings (which itself is a step shy of empathy). [Ask Meryl Streep]

And a malevolent narcissist with significant political power is most threatening to the public because narcissists often take advantage of others.
